Let us transport you to the Queen Charlotte Track, Mistletoe Bay to Anakiwa is 12.5km you can enjoy a self guided walk or bring your own bike and enjoy the day out.
Departing Picton at 10am you will arrive in Mistletoe Bay at approximately 10.30am.
Take the road from the jetty at Mistletoe Bay to the Te Mahia saddle where you join the Queen Charlotte Track for the Anakiwa Wilderness Walk. High above the water, you will follow old bridle paths through regenerating forest. Kamahi, kanuka, manuka and nikau palms provide shelter for ferns and delicate orchids and a home for weka, silver eyes, fantails and many other native birds.
The last hour is an easy hike through mature beech forest to Anakiwa, the home of the Outward Bound School.
Pick up from Anakiwa Jetty is at 3.30pm for the return to Picton approx 4:00pm.

*PLEASE NOTE: Adults will be required to purchase a $12.00 Queen Charlotte Land Owner's Pass to walk this section of the track, this can be purchased online when booking your ticket or in our office.
Students and children are free and do not need to purchase this pass.
If you choose to bike this section of the Queen Charlotte Track, you will not need to purchase Mountain Bike Transport as we will provide this for free for you on this day.
