QCT | Freedom Walk - 1 Day : Torea Bay to Mistletoe Bay

Eight kilometres, approximately three hours walking time.

Get the best of both worlds, fantastic views over both the Queen Charlotte and Kenepuru Sounds.

Bring your lunch, your camera and wear good walking shoes. This cruise and walk departs Picton at 9.30am and cruises over to Torea Bay. En route relax and enjoy the magic that this cruise has to offer. Once disembarking at Torea explore 8kms of the Queen Charlotte Walkway. Along the track look out for the native wildlife.

Near the end of the walk the track drops down into the native forest of tree ferns and beech tree undisturbed except for the call of the tui’s and bellbirds.

PLEASE NOTE. Parts of the Queen Charlotte Track are over private property therefore land owners have decided to charge a $12.00 fee for walking over their property, this is payable in Picton before you depart, or at Furneaux Lodge or Punga Cove Resort or Portage Resort Hotel.
