QCT | Wilderness Walk - Mistletoe Bay to Anakiwa

Twelve kilometres, approximately four hours walking time.

Depart Picton at 10 am, arriving in Mistletoe Bay at approximately 10.15 am. Take the road from the jetty to the Te Mahia saddle where you can join the Queen Charlotte Track for the Anakiwa Wilderness Walk.

There are surprises galore by the trail, a good eye will spot tiny native orchids. Take your camera to capture the magnificent views of the open bays. Listen to the music of the skylark in the open and the tuis and bellbirds in the bush.

All cruises include a full commentary from your skipper as well as complimentary tea and coffee.

Departs 1st December – 31st March at 11:30am with an approximate return of 5:00pm. There is a minimum of two passengers for this trip. Prices effective from October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012. Check in is 30 minutes before departure.
PLEASE NOTE: While you are ashore, you are responsible for your own health and safety

PLEASE NOTE. Parts of the Queen Charlotte Track are over private property therefore land owners have decided to charge a $12.00 fee for walking over their property, this is payable in Picton before you depart, or at Furneaux Lodge or Punga Cove Resort or Portage Resort Hotel.
