The 71km Queen Charlotte track is for mountain bikers of all levels and is usually completed in two-four days, though it can be completed at your own leisure.This panoramic track offers virgin New Zealand bush, exceptional views and accommodation to cater for everyone's budget which is made up of camping grounds, backpackers and resorts.
We recommend that the track is biked from north to south, Ship Cove to Anakiwa and your accommodation booked prior to your departure from Picton.
Have your luggage transferred to your accommodation each day while you do the hard work on the track.
Bring with your own bike with you or if you don't have your own you can hire one through us.
We have on demand water taxi so if you require a time other than our scheduled times please let us know and we will arrange a time that suits you to make the most of your time on the Queen Charlotte track
We invite you to travel with us on The Great Track and Pack Pass, this pass offers you the freedom for you to choose your cycling distances each day and accommodation stopovers.
The Great Track Pass includes the following:
A drop-off at Ship Cove (the beginning of the track) on one of our 3 scheduled boats.
Excludes: Accommodation, Queen Charlotte Track Land Co-Operative Pass ($18 pp) which must be purchased from our office, anything not specified above, additional transfers can be arranged at an additional cost.
Please note Ship Cove to Punga Cove is closed to bikers from 1st December to the
28th February each season. However Punga Cove to Anakiwa is still open.
