Overview

Kaipupu Sanctuary is a community conservation project in the middle of Picton harbour, restoring a 40-hectare peninsula back to its original wilderness.

Beachcomber Cruises is pleased to be able to offer water transport to the sanctuary to walk the 2.7km loop track, and enjoy the bird song, native forest, and stunning views of Queen Charlotte Sound.

We recommend 2 hours on Kaipupu, take a self-guided walk, and explore this beautiful sanctuary.

On board Facilities

In efforts to reduce environmental impact, At Beachcomber Cruises we no longer use single use cups on board our tours. In office you can purchase a souvenir reusable keep cup for tea and coffee onboard selected vessels.
