One Way Biking Options:
One Way Picton to Ship Cove
Depart Picton 8:00am or 9:00am
*Please note during 1st December to 1st March bikes are recommended to go on the 8am departure to Ship Cove*

Choose to ride the whole track back to Picton in one day or you can book your own accommodation for an overnight stay on the track.

Day One: Ship Cove to The Portage Hotel.
Depart Picton on our 9:00am service to Ship Cove, spend some time at Historic Ship Cove with the Captain Cook Monument before heading out onto the Queen Charlotte Track for your 50km ride to Portage where you will stay the night.
The ride includes plenty of climbs and uphill stretches along with flat sections for rest and downhill curves and bends.
Day Two: The Portage Hotel to Anakiwa.
Enjoy spectacular views as you climb the main ridge between Queen Charlotte and Kenepuru Sounds. Follow old bridle paths through regenerating forest that is home to Weka, Silver Eyes, Fantails and many more native New Zealand birds. Take time to look back over the distance covered during your walk and take in the breath-taking vistas. Your adventure ends with a gentle ride through the magnificent beech forest to Anakiwa where your boat will meet you at 3.30pm to return you back to Picton.

Day One: Ship Cove to Punga Cove
Depart Picton on our 9:00am service to Ship Cove to start your 26km ride to Punga Cove Resort. As you head out into the Endeavour Inlet you will ride through native and virgin forest, climbing up the track through a high canopy of trees before dropping down into the old bridal path that leads you around the Endeavour Inlet.
Day Two: Punga Cove to The Portage Hotel
Enjoy spectacular views as you climb the main ridge between Queen Charlotte and Kenepuru Sounds. This is the longest days ride with plenty of uphill climbs, with variety walking though bush and along the ridgeline.
Day Three: The Portage Hotel to Anakiwa.
Take time to look back over the distance covered during your walk and take in the breath taking vistas. Your adventure ends with a gentle ride through the magnificent beech forest to Anakiwa where your boat will meet you at 3.30pm to return you back to Picton.
