Furneaux Lodge

Furneaux Lodge

Nothing quite says "lunch" like a Beachcomber Cruises Day in the Sounds. Make a day of it departing Picton at 9am and cruise up through the Queen Charlotte Sound while enjoying your skipper's commentary on the surrounds, residents and local wildlife. You will have the opportunity to spend 30 minutes ashore at historical Ship Cove, a favourite anchorage of Captain Cook in the 1770's before being dropped off at Furneaux Lodge.

Built in the early 1900's, Furneaux Lodge is nestled at the foot of Mount Furneaux in Endeavour Inlet, surrounded by 2000 acres of native virgin forest. Set in three acres of lawns and gardens, Furneaux Lodge is totally unspoilt as access is by boat or walking only. Sit back and relax or work off a little of that lunch with a walk through the native forest to the lodges very own waterfall.

Upon your return board the Mail Boat and head back to Picton.

Food and beverages are all payable to Furneaux Lodge directly and are not included in your cruise cost.
